In a large skillet, brown:
1 1/2 lb ground beef
1 onion finely chopped
1 tablespoon garlic
Continue to cook until meat is no longer pink then add:
1 medium green cabbage (chopped)
2 cans diced tomatoes with garlic & onions
1 can tomato sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon thyme
3 tablespoons parsley
½ cup of green onion tops (finely chopped)
Simmer over medium heat until cabbage is tender.
Serve over white rice.
