Low Country Shrimp Boil

Combine in a large pot on high heat and heat to boiling:

enough water to cover ingredients
1 teaspoon salt
1 package Durkee shrimp boil seasoning

Once it’s boiling, add:

2 ½ pounds Hillshire Farm all beef blue label sausage – cut into 2 ½” pieces

Cook for about 10 minutes.

Add:

fresh or frozen corn on the cob (allow 2 small ears per person)
new potatoes, split in half

Cook for another 10 minutes.

Add:

5 pounds shrimp in shell

Cook until tender, about 3 – 5 minutes.

Strain the water and dump it all out on a table covered with parchment paper or tin foil.

Serve with cocktail sauce and lots of butter.
