German Potato Salad

Cut into desired piece size:

preferred amount of potatoes

Add potatoes to pot and cover with cold water. Boil and check every 5 minutes for doneness. Remove when done.

While the potatoes are cooking, get the rest of the ingredients together and cooked.

Cut up and fry:

preferred amount of bacon

In the same pot, utilizing the bacon grease, cut up and fry:

preferred amount of onion
preferred amount of celery

Add to a new pot and heat to a simmer:

1 cup vinegar
1 cup sugar
1 cup water

Then add to pot until thickened:

cornstarch/flour 
water

Combine into a slow cooker:

cut & boiled potatoes
fried bacon pieces
sautéed onion & celery
vinegar gravy mixture

Cook for about 2-4 hours on low.
