Mix until well incorporated:
1lb light brown sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1 stick of melted butter
Add in:
3 eggs
Stir together, then add:
1 cup of cake flour
1 cup of chopped nuts (optional)
Stir, then gradually add in:
1 cup of cake flour
Bake at 350º for 25-30 minutes.
Let cool for 5 minutes then cut and cool on a rack.
